You may see agents with an alphabet soup of letters on their business cards. It generally denotes an interest in and willingness to study further in an area of real estate specialization to earn a designation or certificate. Most agents will take classes through their brokerage or association but these are the designations that are recognized by the National Association of Realtors®

This certification is designed for REALTORS® who facilitate the buying, selling, or management of properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination are involved in this market niche.
